Second Chance Agape Worship Center, Inc formerly called; II Second Chance Deliverance Church, Inc., birthed on a prayer and a promise is a rising ministry with its foundation firmly grounded on love and the Word of God. Overseer Dr. Shyremia Latham heard the voice of the Lord and answered the call. Chosen and sent by God she and Pastor Jammy Latham stepped out on faith to begin this great ministry.
The doors of Second Chance Agape Worship Center were opened on July 4, 2004. In August 2004, Overseer Dr. Shyremia Latham was ordained as Elder and installed as Pastor. Starting out in the living room of the Lathams' home and then opening at its first official location, Zen Masters Karate School we have come to a place that we can call home.
Second Chance Agape Worship Center a true deliverance and healing ministry which operates under the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit; a place of refuge, love and true believers. True to its name, one does receive a second chance at life, a second chance at love, a second chance for hope. People have been healed of cancer, thyroid diseases, Lupus and many other medical conditions in this ministry as well as the mending of hearts, minds and spirits. Many have been delivered from addictions, generational curses, bondage, poverty and emotional and personal issues as the Lord works in only the way He can using His servants to do the will of the Father.
With its strong Outreach Ministry, Second Chance and its members feed the homeless, give out food and clothing and minister to inmates in several prisons. The ministry has helped and continues their efforts to aid families to pray with and provide spiritual guidance. Our Overseer has appeared on radio shows, and has traveled this country preaching the Gospel to many.
As we have reached our 14th Church Anniversary, we are a ministry that strives to reach the four corners of this earth. We are a ministry that has been favored by God that bears and will continue to bear much fruit.We are standing on the promises of God which are Yes and Amen and we will always have a Second Chance.
