Overseer Dr. Latham is a powerful gift to the Body of Christ. She stands with the thunderous praise and delivers the Word of God with power and authority. She is known to prolifically change lives wherever she goes.
In 1987 Overseer Dr. Latham accepted the Lord Jesus Christ in a prison cell. The jailhouse rocked and the kingdom of hell was denounced. Overseer Dr. Latham experienced the love of Christ and the delivering power of God when she was delivered from the crack cocaine addiction that had her bound for over a decade. Those that sit under the anointed services often hear her motto “I’m not ashamed” echoed throughout her message.
Overseer Dr. Shyremia P. Latham is a native New Yorker, born in Brooklyn. She is the Overseer and Founder of Second Chance Agape Worship Center, Inc. which was established in July of 2004 in St. Albans, Queens. Overseer ministers side by side with her husband Pastor Jammy Latham. Overseer Latham’s desire is to continue to do the will of the father and save the lost at any cost. She has been an inspiration and mentor to many. She is a great encourager and knows how to uplift and enlighten the body of Christ.
Overseer Dr. Latham serves in various capacities as God’s maidservant. She is a chaplain, teacher, profound and prolific speaker who rightly divides the word of truth in power and demonstration. She has a prophetic voice that is meticulous and concise and unless God says it, it will not come forth from her mouth. She has walked in the depths of her call through her trials and tribulations giving God all the praise and all the glory.
Overseer Dr. Latham’s integrity and intent is to always please God first. Throughout her years of ministry, Overseer Dr. Latham has traveled extensively to various cities, states, the Caribbean and the world, including recently to Ghana, West Africa, preaching the gospel with a clarion call. She brings about great deliverance and has been God’s prophetic voice in North Carolina, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Alabama, Georgia, Chicago, Indiana, and Pennsylvania, just to name a few.
Overseer has accomplished a great amount of ministry milestones in a short period of time including producing Second Chance’s debut album, “Where The Praises Are Real” and appearing on national television with the hit game show “ Deal or No Deal” with Howie Mandel. In 2014, she launched the Second Chance chapter of the New York City Food Bank program which is responsible for feeding hundreds of families each month. Overseer Dr. Latham is also in the process of completing her first book. Overseer Dr. Shyremia Latham also finds great pleasure in ministering to the inmates of several New York City prisons.
Overseer Dr. Shyremia Latham has an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is a loving wife and friend to her husband of over 25 years, Pastor Jammy Latham, who has had the greatest impact in her life, trusting and believing in her ministry. She is a dedicated mother of five children and several grandchildren whom she adores.
